Holubov (German: Holubau) is a village in the Český Krumlov District, south Czech Republic. It has got almost 1,000 inhabitants. The Celts built an oppidum in Třísov about 200 BC and they left the place in the beginning of the 1st century being pushed out from here by migrating Germanic tribes. The walls and a gate of the Třísov oppidum have been partly preserved until today.
